Our Mission

In today’s fast-moving world and its dynamic culture, as soon as a child is born, he/she is inadvertently compelled by society to succeed in all the disciplines and achieve everything with a gold medal around the neck.

However, we at Smiles, serve with a vision to achieve equity in education through a research-based approach to curriculum development, implementation, and advocacy.

The idea is not to educate the child for trophies and medals, instead, to make him/her independent in their daily needs, make them understand the values and their roles in society. Education has become a subject matter of anxiety for most children today.

We aim at making the child comfortable with the environment and mentoring in such a way that he/she is free from the distress and pessimism one may have about education.

What We Do

Smiles Development Center is one of a kind institute that caters to children with special needs and moderate disabilities within the age group of 1.5 years to 15 years.

There are many children who aren’t born with any biological disorders yet wrestle with their primary development and comprehensive growth due to environmental factors.

At Smiles, our optimum goal is to shape every such special child into an independent learner. In order to ensure that each child is treated exclusively and served in line with his/her needs, we offer 3 kinds of programs:

  • Smiles early intervention center
  • Smiles remedial education
  • Smiles therapy center
Each of these programs is designed in a manner that it’s going to transform the way your child looks and responds towards life, and is going to shape up his/her existence.

What Will You Achieve As A Parent?

As quoted by a well-known cultural anthropologist, Margaret Mead, “Children must be taught how to think, not what to think.” We firmly believe that children are magical souls who are supposed to be unfolded in a beautiful way, in a way that brings the best out of their potential. As soon a child enters Smiles, our first step is to observe the child, his/her actions, habits, and practices. Once we get an understanding of the child’s conduct, unlike most therapy centers, we work on a bespoke program that will cater to the child’s explicit requirements.

To begin with, we focus on fundamentals such as:

  • Training the child on primary skills, like, to make firm eye contact and follow directions.
  • Providing exposure towards preparatory skills that include not only academics but also the ability to read, write, listen and understand a language.
  • Coaching the child about classroom preparatory skills, for instance, pay attention to orders and discipline, cooperate and communicate with the peer group, manage time as well as transcript accurately from the blackboard.
While all of the above activities are really easy to carry for normal children, they’re a pile of struggles for children with distinctive difficulties. We are here with our entire team of experts and therapists who hand-hold every child and walk them through the path of life.
